چکیده
Background. The general toxic effects of local anesthetics on vital organs are the most severe side regional blockades. purpose was to study effectiveness and safety combined solutions in brachial plexus block. Materials methods. Forty-nine patients were divided into 2 groups. first group (controls) consisted 24 individuals who received a solution 0.5% bupivacaine 36 ml (180 mg) with adrenaline 1 : 200,000 as an adjuvant block plexus. second (main) 25 patients, treated mixture 2% lidocaine 12 (240 (60 diluted 0.9% NaCl adjuvant. Results. In (bupivacaine), onset time sensory averaged 11.3 ± 4.3 minutes, motor — 21.0 7.8 minutes. duration 894 237 (mixture), 8.0 3.6 14.0 6.2 which significantly less than group. 539 186 longest postoperative analgesia registered 984 263 main slightly shorter 612 210 Conclusions. proposed combination allows reducing dose by three times, decreases complications conduction anesthesia. clinical use drug reduces latent period provides long-term analgesia.

Improvement of Lidocaine Local Anesthetic Action Using Lallemantia royleana Seed Mucilage as an Excipient
Lallemantia royleana (Balangu) is a well known Iranian medicinal plant that its seed mucilage has many applications in modern pharmacology. Plant mucilage traditionally was used as a gel supplement, and natural matrix for sustained release of drugs. But it seems that these compounds are not a simple additive and also have many undiscovered pharmacological properties. In this research, the anest...

متن کاملLocal Anesthetic Systemic Toxicity.
Local anesthetics are commonly used in the perioperative environment to facilitate surgical procedures or to provide postoperative pain management for patients. The use of local anesthetics, however, introduces the risk of complications resulting from local anesthetic systemic toxicity and the risks of increased morbidity and mortality for the surgical patient. Systemic toxicity from the inject...
متن کاملLocal Anesthetic-Induced Neurotoxicity
This review summarizes current knowledge concerning incidence, risk factors, and mechanisms of perioperative nerve injury, with focus on local anesthetic-induced neurotoxicity. Perioperative nerve injury is a complex phenomenon and can be caused by a number of clinical factors. Anesthetic risk factors for perioperative nerve injury include regional block technique, patient risk factors, and loc...
متن کاملLocal anesthetic systemic toxicity.
Local anesthetic systemic toxicity (LAST) is a rare yet devastating complication from the administration of local anesthesia. The ability to recognize and treat LAST is critical for clinicians who administer these drugs. The authors reviewed the literature on the mechanism, treatment, and prevention of LAST, with the goal of proposing a practical method for its management.
